Welcome to my site. My name is Bernice Stephens. 

I grew up in Holland, but lived a big part of my life in California, USA.

6 years ago my husband and I made the big jump across the ocean and moved to beautiful Dushi Bonaire. 

With experience over 10 years in US expat tax and Bonaire tax and after working for a law firm on Bonaire the last 6 years, I decided that I am ready to start my own tax and administration firm.

We will specifically advise you on matters relating to the new tax rules on Bonaire and how they can benefit you.  Bonaire is now a special  municipality within Holland, but we have very different tax laws here and generally lower rates.

If you are considering residency on  Bonaire, you need to know how your income will be taxed. For example Bonaire has a “Double Tax Decree” (DTD) that lowers or eliminates income  tax on certain types of income earned by residents if the income is  taxed in another country.  It is basically an incentive to get US expats  to settle here and spend their money on the island.  In exchange you get  free health care.
